Born in Sweden to a family of potters, Axel Ebring found a promising new
deposit of good clay in the mid-1930’s in a stretch of land now known as
Pottery Road. Ebring worked in the traditional manner and never
abandoned his foot-powered potter’s wheel. Nor did he ever use a
thermometer for his wood fired kiln.
All the murals are well done paying tribute to the artist's talent and creativity for any passersby to enjoy.
