Organized & charter written in 1936.. 1 fire truck & 7 men were housed in the building used as the Reedsville Town Hall in the present day.Present fire station in use today was constructed in 1980. During construction of the present day station on property generously donated to Reedsville firefighters by Mr. William Fairfax, a tornado tore the garage doors off the building being built, & tore the roof off the building we were using at that time .
