The neighboring cities of Bruceton mills and Brandonville went together and started the Bruceton-Brandonville Volunteer Fire Department in 1947. We provide fire suppression and rescue operations in our response area which is the northern third of Preston County covering 157 square miles, bordered by Pennsylvania to the north and Maryland to the east, Monongalia County to the west. We also protect 16 miles of interstate 68, and are first due at the United States penitentiary in Hazelton.
