L'hôtel à insectes est un concept qui permet d'optimiser la présence, par la survie hivernale, des insectes qui sont souhaités dans des écosystèmes où la pollinisation et la biodiversité sont recherchées, exemple jardin potager, verger, construction haute qualité environnementale (HQE). L'été, il peut également servir de support de ponte à certaines espèces comme les abeilles maçonnes.
The insect hotel is a concept that optimizes the presence, for winter survival, insects that are desired in ecosystems where pollination and biodiversity are investigated, eg vegetable garden, orchard, building high environmental quality (HQE ). In summer, it can also serve as a support for spawning species such as mason bees.
