A cut mark on the tower of All Saints' Church in Terling almost hidden in the lichen.

The Parish Church of All Saints' in Terling is of the C13th-C15th, with an early C18th tower, it was restored in the C19th, and is Grade II* listed. The tower is built of red brick in Flemish bond with limestone dressings, the spire is shingled.

The cut mark can be found on the northern face of the lowest limestone quoin of the tower, at the north-west corner. It is 40.655m above the Newly datum, was leveled in 1952 and last verified in 1969, and is 0.700m above ground level. Partially hidden by lichen growing on the stonework it is a little difficult to see.
