This rest area can be reached only be going on Interstate 70 eastbound towards Denver, Colorado. There are a few plaques here, but they only tell about the dinosaurs who used to call Utah home. There is a restroom for both male and female and plenty of parking. In the south part of the rest area, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the canyon. There are no geocaches here so don't even bother pulling out your phone unless you are waymarking. There is no cell reception here, unfortunately so you will need to use the only pay phone near the restrooms.
