DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1948 AT BAKER FIRE CAMP. AT THE BAKER FIRE CAMP OF THE CALIFORNIA DIVISION OF FORESTRY, AT THE T JUNCTION OF STATE HIGHWAY 36 AND A COUNTY PAVED ROAD LEADING NORTHEAST TO COTTONWOOD, ABOUT 100 YARDS SOUTHEAST OF AND ACROSS THE HIGHWAY FROM THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF A LARGE SHEET METAL BUILDING, 34 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE HIGHWAY, IN LINE WITH THE PROLONGATION OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE COUNTY ROAD, 17 FEET SOUTHWEST OF A HIGHWAY SIGN RED BLUFF 19 - COTTONWOOD 16, 15.2 FEET NORTH OF A WIRE FENCE, 1.8 FEET WEST OF A WITNESS POST, AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST PROJECTING 0.5 FOOT ABOVE THE GROUND.
