This house has a noble past. It's located in the center of Tallinn, specifically in Lossi Plats 4. There is a mark of National Monument and a plaque with its history and a simplified plant. All on its wall.

In 1683 the site featured a single storied dwelling. In 1711 the owner of the building was the former Swedish major-general Anton von Wolmar Schlippenbachile was was imprisoned in Poltava by the Russians and became friend of Tsar Peter I who granted him the rank of major-general of the Russian Army. During his visit to Tallinn in 1711 the Tsar and his wife stayed in this house.

In the second half of the 17th Century the house was rebuilt.
