The pagoda is located at the S end of Mt. Penn and is accessible from Skyline Drive to the north & Duryea Drive to the east.

1/1/1942 by CGS (FIRST OBSERVED)
DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1942 (PLB) THIS INTERSECTION STATION IS THE LARGE REPLICA OF AN ORIENTAL PAGODA LOCATED ON THE SOUTHERN END OF MT. PENN WHICH IS PART OF THE READING PARK SYSTEM. POINT OBSERVED ON WAS THE FINIAL.

RECOVERY NOTE BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1978 (RPD) STATION FOUND AS DESCRIBED AND IN GOOD CONDITION.

1/1/1983 by BSA (GOOD)
RECOVERY NOTE BY BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA 1983 (DD) STILL STANDING.

1/1/1987 by USPSQD (GOOD)
RECOVERY NOTE BY US POWER SQUADRON 1987 (IEE) RECOVERED IN GOOD CONDITION.
