This monument is dedicated to
25th Tennessee Infantry Regiment in recognition of their service during the
Battle of Chickamauga, fought September 19–20, 1863. This is one of two monuments to the 25th Tennessee Infantry on the battlefield. It marks their location at sundown Sept. 20, 1863.

Short Physical Description
7' x 6' x 10' high, the monument has the form of a squat obelisk with molded base set on a large slab. Front has relief carving of crossed flags over an inscription.
