Charles Price has inherited the family shoe business, after the untimely demise of his father. Upon taking the reins of the business Charles realises that the business is going under.
On a trip to London Charlie intervenes when he sees a woman being attacked. He is knocked out, and when he awakes he finds that he is in the dressing room of a drag queen, called Lola. Lola tells Charlie that drag queens’ shoes break because they are designed for women. What Lola wants is shoes made for drag queens. Charlie hits on the idea of providing kinky boots for transvestites. With Lola’s design input Charlie starts production, to some hostility from his staff and his greedy girlfriend.
