From the intersection with FR16 near Three Creek Meadow, south of Sisters, travel generally NE on FR1628 for 1.8 miles. Turn right onto FR1628-600 and continue for 0.9 miles, crossing Three Creek, to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on steel pipe in collar of stones; rising 1"
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 520' E of FR1628-600. At about half that distance, crossed a dirt road (apparently an extension of FR1628-620) and found a LOCATION POSTER. There is an orange Carsonite post with LAND SURVEY MARKER and PROPERTY BOUNDARY decals, which bears S, 3' distant from the corner. Found four white firs with partly healed, scribed blazes and yellow BEARING TREE tags.
What property is this mark defining?:
The land E of the corner is a part of Skyline Forest, presently owned by Fidelity National Timber; else Deschutes National Forest
