From the intersection with FR16 near Three Creek Meadow, south of Sisters, travel generally NW on FR1600-700 for 1.6 miles to the corner on the left. The road, through a recently burned area, is washed out in places.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on steel pipe in a mound of stones; rising 7"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 330' W of the road. There is a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign mounted on a U-post which bears N, 3' distant from the corner. Found three burned snags all with yellow BEARING TREE tags. The bearing tree in the NE quadrant is down.
