From the Dixie National Forest Website: (visit link)

"The Freemont OHV Trail, No. 3002, begins at Tropic Reservoir and extends northerly on the Paunsaugunt and Sevier Plateaus to Circleville, Utah. The trail is approximately 76 miles in length, utilizes existing roads and includes that portion of the trail only on National Forest System lands. The terrain and scenery are highly variable and includes forests, grasslands, sagebrush, shrub lands, and red rock to green rock and volcanic geological formations and scenery. The roads are used for many purposes and the OHV users should always be alert to and be cautious of motor vehicles over 40 inches in width. At Circleville, the trail ties into the Piute ATV Trail which is a large ATN trail system in central Utah. The Forest Service have highlights some loops that can be ridden along this trail. These loops are West Hunt Loop, Casto-Limekiln Loop, Horse Valley Peak Loop and Table Mountain Loop to the east of the Fremont trail. These loops and this section of the Fremont OHV trail are on the OHV Fremont System Map available in the Powell Ranger District Office in Panguitch or at the Red Canyon Visitor Center."
