Ball Field at Roaring River State Park - Cassville, MO - TEMPORARILY CLOSED - Amateur Baseball Fields on Waymarking.com

This ball field has a nice backstop, and is kept well mowed. Bring your own chairs! Besides playing baseball here, check out the other available activities at this wonderful state park. There are a few geocaches in the area, too.

Update: Excessive rains at the end of 2015 wiped out a portion of the ball field, most of the infield including the backstop -- photos added. Depending on what the Park folks decide, this ball field could be reopened by recovering the backstop, or just building a new one, away from the water damage. There is still plenty of field left to do so. Unless they fill in this area (quite a big job!), they could fence off the bad area. We'll see what they do. For now, I'm marking this TEMPORARILY CLOSED.
