This campground is nearest: the park headquarters, the swimming pool, the park store, and the former one-room schoolhouse (which is also several waymarks). It is open year-round. Roaring River State Park has a web page on the three campgrounds, including a PDF file with site information for each of the campgrounds. There is a large shower/restroom building. (Incidentally, there is a private campground that can only be reached by driving through this campground! But that campground has a gate, and is quiet.)
