Barbara Nisbet Smith
We regret to announce the passing of Barbara Nisbet Smith on November 7, 2004 in Vernon, B.C. Barbara, aged 88 years, has resided in Vernon over 60 years. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Linda (Don) Jarrell, Courtenay, Sharon (Ken) Dick, Maryland, U.S.A. Two grandchildren, Heather (Eugene) Queener, Bartonville, Texas, Craig Dick, Glendale, Arizona. Two great granddaughters, Alex & Jamie Queener. Sister, Margaret Grant, Vancouver. Niece, Janet (Henry) Arens, Vernon. Other nieces, nephews and extended family. No service by request. Donations in memory of Barbara Smith may be made to B.C. Cancer Society.

This is a beautiful area with a large fountain, interesting sculpture and a mosaic: Fabrics of the World. The Museum offers a history of the North Okanagan Region, through permanent and temporary collections.
