This beach is at the Baltic sea in Flensborg fjord. Near the beach there is the island of Store Okseø. Sønderhav beach has the blue flag, a playground for children and a parking area. Sønderhav village and beach are located at the Fjordvejen, a coastal road with several beautiful views to the sea.
The beach is famous for its kiosk with typical danish hotdogs. Annie Bøgild is selling hotdogs since 1966 in her kiosk, that's why the beach got its nickname "Hotdog Hav". See:
