The engines are in an old shed toward the rear of Father Pandosy Mission, the first white settlement in the Okanagan Valley, begun in 1859.

This is the smaller of the two, a 1½ HP single cylinder gasoline burner, that was also the smallest that Judson made. They manufactured a line of engines from this little banger to a 30 HP wheel mounted unit at their plant in Winnipeg. All were offered with a 30 day free trial and a 5 year warranty. This model, known as the Handy Boy, sold for $42.50. We believe this engine was made circa 1915.
