Saint-Damien-de-Buckland is a parish municipality in the Bellechasse Regional County Municipality, in the Chaudière-Appalaches region of Quebec. The population was 2,071 in the Canada 2011 Census.
On Saint-Louis Road, you will find this Magnetic Hill. Stop your car at the plaque and you will feel the effect that your car will go backwards, heading uphill.
Saint-Damien-de-Buckland est une municipalité de paroisse dans la municipalité régionale de comté de Bellechasse au Québec (Canada), située dans la région administrative de Chaudière-Appalaches.
Elle fut fondée en 1882 par l'abbé J. Onésime Brousseau. Elle est nommée en l'honneur de saints Côme et Damien.
Sur la route Saint-Louis, vous trouverez la fameuse Côte Magnétique. Stationnez votre véhicule à la pancarte et mettez le moteur en position neutre. Vous aurez l'impression de remonter la pente en reculant.
