Located within Rock Point Pioneer Cemetery are numerous homemade tombstones, the majority of which were made in recent years. This particular tombstone is of a young child who died over 120 years ago but looks to have been either created in recent years as a replacement tombstone or possibly repainted over and over again to preserve the name. either way, the tombstone is basically a chunk of granite with painted letters on it. Interestingly, he is buried next to an Elizabeth Blackert (another homemade tombstone) who also died at a young age and a year earlier.
