Located within Rock Point Pioneer Cemetery are numerous homemade tombstones, the majority of which are made in recent years. This particular tombstone is of a woman who died over 120 years ago but looks to have been either created in recent years as a replacement tombstone or possibly repainted over and over again to preserve the name. either way, the tombstone is basically a chunk of granite with painted letters on it. Elizabeth was very young when she passed and I'm curious to know how she died. Interestingly, she is buried next to a Fred Blackert (another homemade tombstone) who died a year later and at only two years of age.
