As one passes through Keremeos on Highway 3 they will, hopefully, spy a dozen old tractors along the north side of the Highway. This will be the 106 year old Parson's Orchard & Fruit Stand.

This old Cletrac, an abbreviation for the Cleveland Tractor Company, is the only crawler in the collection at the fruit stand. It carries serial number 22242 which indicates that it was made in the 1920s. The "W" was the third model of Cletrac manufactured, beginning production in 1919. Powered by a four cylinder Weidley-Cletrac gasoline engine of 12 drawbar HP, it was capable of a pull of 1790 pounds and weighed 3418 pounds. The W was capable of breathtaking speeds of 4 MPH in high gear and 2 MPH in reverse. Full specs can be seen HERE.
Cletrac 12-20

The Cletrac 12-20 Model W was built between 1919 and 1932, and had a four cylinder engine with magneto ignition. Examples upto around 1930 had a Weidely OHV engine, with those afterwards having Cletrac's own power unit. Approximately 17,215 examples of the Model W were built in all, until being replaced in 1932. The tracks were supported by three rollers along the lower run of the track, with a single roller doing the job on the upper run (not shown fitted in this photograph). The PTO sticks out the front of the crawler, beneath the radiator.
