This quiet memorial fountain stands in a place of pride and honor in front of the Carl Hayden Visitor Center at Glen Canyon Dam.
The fountain and its plaque mention that the names of the victims are inscribed around the fountain, but on 31 Jul 2014 Blasterz were not able to find any names anywhere near this fountain.
The plaque at the fountain reads as follows:
"BUREAU OF RECLAMATION
MEMORIAL FOUNTAIN
This fountain is dedicated to the memory of our fellow employees who died October 8, 1977 in a plane crash near Montrose, Colorado.
Their names encircle the fountain just as the accomplishments of their careers and lives encircle us.
Dedicated on behalf of all employees of the Bureau of Reclamation
