Located amongst a row of trees dividing the parking lots between the Rogue River VFW Post 4116 and the public library are a memorial flag and plaque. The plaque is monumented at the base of the flag and reads:

The memorial obviously stood out much more almost 40 years ago when it was dedicated but many years of vegetative growth has caused this memorial to be shadowed by trees and shrubs near it.
