The bridge is a single span Warren Pony Truss bridge with alternating verticals, and according to bridgehunter.com, has the following vitals:

Span length: 70 feet
Total length: 70 feet
Deck width: 16 feet

There is a large field just east of the bridge where it is safe to park. Please be very careful to stay clear of traffic, as Mt. Zion Road can get busy. Per the City of Midlothian, there are plans afoot to replace this bridge: Enjoy it while you can, and hope that they put it out to pasture in a good place. Given the growth in the area, this may happen sooner than later. (visit link)
