The first 1.2 miles of this trail is also the last 1.2 miles of the Finger Lakes Trail. At that point it intersects with the Peekamoose-Table Trail. The Phonicia-East Branch Trail continues to the left and intersects with Curtis-Ormsbee Trail.

Starting here, you can summit Peekamoose, Table, Slide, Cornell and Whittenburg peaks: 5 of the Catskill 35 over 3500.
Or you can use it to finish the Finger Lakes Trail, turn around and go home...
Or you could follow the trail to Slide Mtn and keep going along the Long Path north to Altamont (west of Albany)....
Or you could follow the Peekamoose Table Trail south and keep going on the Long Path to the Geoge Washington Bridge, NYC
