Guillermo Zuluaga “Montecristo” was a humorist from Antioquia, Colombia. He is perhaps the most famous Colombian comedian and humorist of the twentieth century.

Guillermo Zuluaga created a series of characters that he used to bring his humor to life. His 50 year long career as a humorist, especially the quality of of his humor, earned him the nickname “the best comedian in America”.
This statue of Guillermo Zuluaga was sculpted by Lux Maria Piedrahita. The statue is a life sized figure dressed in a tuxedo and cumberbund. He is holding a wand in his left hand. The statue stands at the top of the road on the way to the parking lot at the top of Cerro Nutibara. The plaque nearby reads:
