An dieser Stelle kann man das Borkumer Wappen erkennen.

Es ist ein in zwei hälften geteiltes Schild. Die linke Seite ist grün, mit zwei übereinander angeordneten, silbernen Walen. Auf der rechten Seite erkennt man einen Leuchtturm auf blau-silbernen Wellen. Über dem Schild befindet sich ein goldener Fadenbord mit der lateinischen Aufschrift: „MEDIIS TRANQUILLUS IN UNDIS“. Übersetzt heißt es "ruhig inmitten der Wogen".

At this point you can see the coat of arms Borkumer.

There is one in zwie halves divided blade. The left side is green, arranged with two superimposed, silver whales. On the right side you can see a lighthouse on blue and silver waves. Above the shield a golden thread board with the Latin inscription: "Mediis Tranquillus IN UNDIS". Translated it means "calm amid the waves".
