This is one of two churches in the Saint Oliver Plunkett Parish that covers the Beth-Center School District in Washington COunty, Pennsylvania. The parish was formed in 1994 as part of the Diocese of Pittsburgh's reorganization and revitalization project and combined this and Saint Michael the Archangel Church in Fredericktown, a practice that continues today.
