This one is a little more difficult to spot than the standard tablet as it's a bolt, quite a bit smaller.

This BM is in the northwest concrete abutment of an abandoned CPR steel girder bridge that is now part of the Merritt Centennial Trail project. The easiest way go get to it is to park at the west end of Quilchena Avenue, where there is trailhead parking, and walk west to the bridge and over it. Look closely in the abutment wall and you'll find the BM. Though dinged up to some extent, it's still readable.

CPR Steel girder bridge over Nicola River, 1.6 km northwest of station, 1.2 km northwest of Voght Street in town via Highway No. 8 to Spences Bridge, on southerly side of highway no. 8, bolt in southeast face of northwest concrete abutment at north corner of bridge, 3.6 m northeast of centre of tracks, 62 cm southwest of northeast edge of abutment, 32 cm below seat level, 2 m below track level.
