Fair Haven Pier 1N BM - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

The mark is a US Army Corps of Engineers Survey Disk labeled "1971 - Mon. 4 - Belo Dist.". The disk is located on the northern-most point of the east pier in Fair Haven State Park, NY. The pier is accessible by foot after entering Fair Haven State Park on the shore of Lake Ontairo. Walk to the N end of the pier, and the disk is set flush in the concrete of the pier, approx. 2 ft. W of the light structure at the end of the pier, and approx. 3 ft. S of the end of the pier.

There is also another US Army Corps of Engineers (01.6 Belo Dist. 1973) disk located at the S end of this same pier (my close up of that disk didn't come out clearly).
