The castle 'Schloss Rosenstein' is located inside the huge park 'Rosensteinpark' in Stuttgart, Germany, Baden-Württemberg. It is listed in the German Monument Registers since 1985 and has its own entry at the wikipedia.

The castle has been built 1824-29 by plans of Giovanni Salucci for the king Wilhelm I. It was destroyed in 1944 and re-built in 1954. It is used as a natural history museum.

It is built in classical style. There are several statues, reliefs, fountains and a rose garden nearby. The famous zoo 'Wilhelma' is also located nearby.
