In Boston's Back Bay neighborhood is L. A. Burdick's Chocolates.

The shop is located on Clarendon Street, just north of the intersection with Boylston Street. It is a 1 1/2 story building with a peaked tile roof with dormer windows - quite unusual to find a building this small in this part of the city.

Inside is a nice, warm atmosphere. To the right is the retail area and ahead and left is the cafe area. The cafeteria is where you can enjoy a coffee, tea, or hot chocolate along with a number of fresh pastry items. The retail area has all sorts of mostly chocolate items. They are most well known for their holiday chocolates that are in the forms of mice, penguins, and snowmen. On Halloween, they have ghosts! There are also dipped fruits, truffles, chocolate bars, and other items. Items can be bought there or ordered online. All items are made with high quality ingredients.

Burdick's was started in 1987 in New York City. It now has four locations, one of which is their main chocolate making facility in Walpole, NH.
