The Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch in Gilbert is a water recycling facility as well as a wildlife and botanical preserve. The town of Gilbert stores recycled and reclaimed water in the ponds at the preserve.
Honey Bee Point is a campsite available by reservation. Cost is $30 for a small party and $40 for a large party. On site there are restrooms and water. Dogs are allowed if they remain leashed. You cannot have your vehicles at the campsite overnight; the nearest parking is about .25 mile away. You can pick up and drop off your gear in a vehicle.
The campsite has a great view of Pond #2 and has easy access to the Eastern Canal Trail and the other trails in the preserve.
