This 'You Are Here' Map is at the observation platform of the Pa-hay-okee Trail which is off the Main Park Road about 13 miles west of the Ernest Coe Visitor Center at the entrance to Everglades National Park, Florida.

The observation platform is on the 850-foot wheelchair friendly boardwalk loop of the Pa-hay-okee Trail. Pa-hay-okee is a Seminole Phrase meaning "grassy waters" and the grassy prairie in front of the observation deck is the eight-mile wide, very shallow Shark River Slough that slowly flows toward the Gulf.
