Of the many trails in the area, many of which end on mountain tops, this is one of the easier ones, as it follows the old CPR railbed from Warfield up the mountain to Rossland. Rossland claims itself to be the
Mountain Bike Capital of Canada, although that title is now officially held by
Squamish. They do have a
lot of trails, ranging in difficulty from flat and easy to straight up.
This Trail is 7.1 km in length, beginning just southeast of Village Square Park in Warfield and ending just above downtown Rossland.
There is a small amount of parking available at the trailhead, more at the nearby park.
