This trailhead is located at the eastern end of the Harte Trail, a rails to trails pathway located in the western part of Winnipeg.

The Harte trail is an easy 6.9 km long multi-use trail running along the south edge of the neighbourhood of Charleswood in the City of Winnipeg. All but the last 400 metres of the trail forms a part of the Trans-Canada Trail. This trailhead also marks the southern end of the Preston Trail, which extends north through Assiniboine Forest.
There is no parking available at the trailhead. The closest parking is on West Taylor Boulevard at the coordinates below. To access the trailhead from this point, walk across Shaftesbury Boulevard and follow the Preston Trail to its southern terminus at the trailhead.
