Eva (Eve) is one of 23 sculptures in
Plaza Botero donated by Medellin artist
Fernando Botero for the renovation of the
Museum of Antioquia. Botero’s signature style, also known as "Boterismo", depicts people and figures in large, exaggerated volume, which can represent political criticism or humor, depending on the piece. He is considered the most recognized and quoted living artist from Latin America.
Eve is described in the old testament as the first woman created by God.
The sculpture can be seen in Google Street View.
