Anne MacKintosh-Payette was born on January 18, 1877 in Banffshire Scotland to parents Alexander and Margaret Adam MacKintosh. She passed away June 7, 1977 in Trail at the age of 100.

She married Lectance Clement Payette on November 12, 1910 in Creston, British Columbia at the age of 32.

Lectance Clement Payette was born on April 15, 1872 to parents Gilbert and Scalittu Deroch-Payette in Renfrew Ontario, Canada. He passed away on November 25, 1952.

The Columbia Riverview Cemetery was established in 1928 by the Trail Knights of Pythias for use by their members. Once opened for use by the general public the name was informally changed from Knights of Pythias Cemetery to Columbia Riverview Cemetery.

The cemetery is well-maintained and is still in active use today. There are approximately 360 interments.
