Gwendolen M. Kay passed away on January 9th at the age of 100.

She was married to Gilbert Kay and they had three children, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She lived in Trail, British Columbia for sixty-four years and is interred in the Columbia Riverview Cemetery.

The Columbia Riverview Cemetery was established in 1928 by the Trail Knights of Pythias for use by their members. Once opened for use by the general public the name was informally changed from Knights of Pythias Cemetery to Columbia Riverview Cemetery.

The cemetery is well-maintained and is still in active use today. There are approximately 360 interments.
