The Millennium Bridge, one of many modern architectural jewels of London, is work of Pritzker Price laureate - British architect Norman Robert Foster. The bridge, with official name is London Millennium Footbridge, was opened for public use in June 2000. Bridge forms a direct link from St. Paul's Cathedral on the north bank of the Thames to the Tate Modern Gallery and the restored Globe Theatre.
