The Drill Hall was also known as The Armoury and later as The Annex when it became part of the MaClean Elementary School just across the street to the north.

Built in 1904, the Drill Hall housed the 54th Battalion of Rossland's volunteer militia. The hall continued to be used as a drill hall through the second World War The view is of the front of the Drill Hall, looking north west across Monte Cristo street toward First Avenue.

The Drill Hall is another of the City of Rossland's Heritage Buildings. It can be found on the southwest corner of the intersection of Monte Cristo Street and First Avenue.
