A fire tower located in Hocking Hills State Park near Ash Cave.

This fire tower is used to spot forest fires in the surrounding area. Signs are posted at the base that explain the tower's use and provide other information. The tower was constructed in 1934, but only recently opened to the public. The 80’ Aermotor tower with 7’x7’ metal cab has also recently been restored and repainted by the fire tower restoration project of the Ohio Division of Forestry with the cooperation of the Ohio Division of the Forest Fire Lookout Association. There is no access to the cab, only the top of the stairs. A sign at the base reads:

No more than 6 visitors allowed on tower at one time.
All visitors climbing do so at own risk
