This weathervane sculpture is located in Parc René-Lévesque in Montreal. It will turn facing the wind.

The big frame is fixed and oriented N/S. In the middle is a human figure with a bird wing that makes it turn with the wind.

"Sculpture-girouette dont chacun des éléments s'inspirent des aides à la naviguation. Ainsi, la base reprend la forme des bouées et des phares. À son sommet, un grand cadre rouge est orienté très précisément nord-sud; il sert de rose des vents tout en délimitant l'horizon dans lequel évolue une silhouette mobile. Cette figure humaine qui se dédouble, décrit la marche d'un homme. Accolée à son dos, une série de rectangles juxtaposés composent une aile d'oiseau qui capte le vent et fait pivoter la silhouette sur son axe. Le nez au vent, l'homme en indique la direction tout comme une girouette. Le motif de l'aile est repris sur les quatre faces de la base."
