Large, well-defined plot, located in Spring Forest Cemetery, off Mygatt Street in Binghamton. It is dedicated to the 21 Binghamton Firefighters who have died in the line of duty. The plot is "gated" with brass renditions of fire hoses. A pair of nozzles serve as the entrance handles.
The Memorial itself is a granite obelisk. On its front is relief of a Firefighter recuing a child, with a nozzle in his hand.
Above is the motto "Never Despair"
The main body reads:

Organized July 1836
Incorporated April, 1869
