This old fountain is called 'Polizeibrunnen' (Police Fountain). It is located nearby to the 'Stadtkirche' at the 'Lammgasse' in Bad Cannstatt, Germany, Baden-württemberg.

The funny name comes from the fact that in earlier times a police station right next door existed.

The fountain was created in 1831 and renewed in 1976.
It uses drinkable mineral water from one of the famous mineral springs of Bad Cannstatt. You can drink it for free!
