I recovered this pipe cap from 1991 in good condition. This pipe cap is monumented on a metal pipe protruding about 12 inches above the ground and surrounded with rocks. This section corner has the stamping of 'T39S R3E' as well as sections 8, 9, 16 & 17 on the disk face. The year '1991' is also stamped on the disk face. The only nearby bearing tree a with yellow placard is located just south of a dirt forest service road and north of this cap. The pipe cap is located on a steep incline and about 50-75 feet south of the road. This cap is not listed in the NGS database.

To reach this pipe cap, turn onto Table Mountain Road from Hyatt Prairie Road. Continue west a few miles until you reach a forked road. Take the south fork and the pipe cap is located south of this road. My posted coordinates will place you very close to this survey mark.
Type of survey mark: 2.5" cadastral survey disk
