Quincy Public Library provides unrestricted access to information in many formats and from many sources. The Library extends beyond its physical walls by offering materials, assistance and resources accessible by electronic means. The Quincy Public Library serves as a center for information discovery, promotes life-long learning, and encourages the exchange of ideas reflecting all points of view.
A Quincy Public Library card is issued free to all residents and property owners of Quincy School District #172. The Tri-Quincy Area Public Library District is included within these boundaries. To apply for a card, you must show valid photo identification which has your name and current address on it. Children, birth to eighteen years of age, need the signature of a parent or legal guardian to obtain a library card. Sign up for a Library Card online."
