Smithsonian Art Inventory Description
Three stallions stand on their hind legs and form a triad. The work is abstract and uses negative space. The stallions stand on a square six-legged base which uses horizontal forms rather than a solid surface.
My Description
Two hollow patch-work stallions, reared up high on their hind legs, are attacking each other with their front hooves. A third stallion, partially reared up on its hind legs with its front hooves extended, has his head down possibly as a result of a blow from one of the other two.
